About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer who will play a key role in shaping and executing our testing strategy across critical products and platforms. The individual will design and maintain test plans, lead complex testing activities, and drive continual improvements in automation, quality standards, and engineering practices. This role is ideal for someone who has understanding and hands on experience of the Digital ecosystem ( Appium, API, REST Assured) and knowledges in developments to automate things.

What you’ll do

  • Design, implement, review, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases
  • Lead testing efforts for complex features or projects, coordinating closely with developers and product owners
  • Create, maintain, and execute both automated and manual test suites
  • Perform various types of testing including performance, regression, functional, and integration testing
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex issues, providing detailed and actionable defect reports
  • Ensure optimal test coverage through risk-based analysis and impact assessments
  • Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and overall QA effectiveness
  • Lead and facilitate defect triage meetings, working with developers to identify and resolve root causes
  • Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test automation code
  • Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers
  • Review test automation code to ensure best practices, maintainability, and adherence to quality standards

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • 6 months minimum in Cypress or Playwright
  • 2 years Strong experience in writing automated tests using tools selenium or appium.
  • Fluent English Speaker
  • Experience in Web, Mobile and API testing.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and/or DevOps environments
  • Expertise in test management and bug-tracking tools: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, UAT)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., azure, GitHub actions)
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
  • Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, locust) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and mentoring experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
