Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the Life & Health (L&H) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of underwriting and claims processes, hands-on experience in manual testing, and exposure to both Project Delivery and Application Management Services (AMS). The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with business stakeholders across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Life & Health insurance applications.
• Validate business requirements related to underwriting and claims to ensure quality and compliance with business expectations.
• Design, review, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate and manage stakeholder communication during UAT, providing timely updates on test progress, defects, risks, and release readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and business users to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and verification.
• Support both project implementation and AMS activities, including production support, defect triage, enhancements, and change requests.
• Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Skill Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer in the Life & Health (L&H) Insurance domain.
• Strong functional expertise in underwriting and claims processes.
• Experience supporting both Project Delivery and Application Management Services (AMS).
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based delivery.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management during UAT and coordinating with business users for successful sign-offs.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Other Requirements

• Exposure to insurance policy administration systems.
• Experience working with distributed teams across the APAC region.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to test automation tools is an added advantage.

Shift Requirement

Candidate must be willing to work during APAC business hours to support Agile sprint delivery, UAT activities, stakeholder collaboration, and Project/AMS operations across the APAC region.
