Job Description

Job Summary

1. Requires strong techno-functional automation expertise in insurance applications with hands-on delivery focus.
2. Plans, builds, and maintains automated functional, regression, smoke, and sanity suites for PAS, billing, claims, and portals.
3. Leads integration-focused automation combining UI and API to validate critical insurance workflows.
4. Ensures early feedback through reliable smoke and sanity suites and API contract validations.
5. Confirms data integrity across PAS, admin systems, financial platforms, and external vendors.
6. Guides a small automation team, reviews scripts for stability, and reduces flakiness in CI pipelines.
7. Collaborates with developers, BAs, and product owners to align automation coverage with acceptance criteria.
8. Provides release-level confidence without taking full architectural ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To track test coverage, defect density, other relevant metrics, and publish progress reports.
5. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
