About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Test Specialist to join the our program, supporting a wide range of strategic and business-critical projects within the energy and utilities domain.
You will play a key role in ensuring quality across complex system integrations, working closely with multiple teams and domains such as metering, billing, asset management, and market processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, document, and execute test scenarios and test plans
Perform hands-on functional testing
Coordinate end-to-end (E2E) testing across teams and projects
Manage and track defects, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business stakeholders
Prepare and manage test data across domains
Facilitate Go/No-Go decision meetings and report test outcomes
Communicate test progress via tools like Jira and Confluence
Project Context
You will contribute to high-impact initiatives within the program, including:

Central Market System (CMS) stabilization
Implementation of MIG6 market processes
Projects related to capacity tariffs, metering, and gas systems
These projects involve strong integration across market, financial, and asset management systems
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience as:

Test Coordinator
-
Test Specialist (hands-on execution)
Proven experience testing large, complex enterprise applications
Strong knowledge of test methodologies and techniques
Experience in:
Writing and executing test scenarios
Understanding functional & technical analyses
Presenting test results to stakeholders
Experience with data management and market process testing
Certification: ISTQB / ISEB (Foundation or higher)
Familiarity with:

SQL, XML, BPM

Test tools (Jira, Zephyr)

Fluent Dutch (C2 level – CEFR)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience with:

Test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, SpecFlow, Reqnroll)

Test strategy development

Web application testing
Knowledge of UML / Use Case modeling
Experience in the Belgian utilities sector
Basic knowledge of scripting or development
Ways of Working
Work across multiple domains (e.g., Metering, Billing, Reporting)
