We are seeking a skilled developer with expertise in UI and API performance testing to ensure our applications deliver optimal speed, scalability, and reliability. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance across both front-end and back-end components

Location: Hybrid model is possible (minimum 3 days in Katowice office per week).

• Non-Functional Testing Contribute to performance (e.g., smoke/load scripts).
• Test Development & Execution: Develop automated performance test scripts, simulate real-world usage scenarios for UI and API endpoints under varying loads.
• Monitoring & Analysis Collect and analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks for front-end and API.
• CI/CD Integration Integrate test suites into pipelines.
• Test Data & Environments Support deterministic test data strategies and ensure environment readiness and observability.
• Quality AnalyticsSupport tracking quality KPIs (coverage by critical path, defect escape rate) and drive continuous improvements.
• Code Quality Review automation code, enforce standards, and mentor engineers on testability, patterns, and best practices.
• Defect Management Triage failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate to prevent recurrence via guardrails and automation.
• DocumentationMaintain living documentation for test strategy, frameworks, environments, and runbooks.
• Experimenting with AI Technologies in Test AutomationImplementing AI-based solutions for test generation, coverage analysis, anomaly detection, and regression optimization.

Must have:

• Self-driven person with the ability to design and implement performance test scenarios and turn them into automated load and stress tests
• Minimum 3 years experience in test automation or software engineering with a strong automation focus
• Knowledge of a modern programming language (C#)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker, Jenkins, Git, JIRA/X-Ray
  • JMeter or comparable Performance Testing Tool
  • Selenium/Selenoid or comparable Test Automation Framework (eg. Playwright)
  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems (admin tools e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, installation scripts etc)
• Detailed understanding of software testing principles and Agile development process
• Ability to writing technical documentation
• Good English communication skills (speaking and writing) and ability to work in international teams

Nice to have:

• Experience in using AI in the testing process, e.g. Github CoPilot (including concept of MCP’s).
• Elastic stack
• RabbitMQ
• Experience with integrating HW simulation with E2E testing

Pay Transparency Statement
The monthly base salary range for this position is 10,900.00 PLN gross to 15,600.00 PLN gross.
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, and relevant experience. Certain roles may include additional components beyond base salary, such as incentive opportunities or other forms of variable compensation. Details of any such components will be discussed during the interview process and will be governed by the applicable plan documents.
