We are seeking a Senior Test Manager to support the integration of an inhouse built pricing processing tool into a new core banking system. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities to ensure software quality, compliance, and successful delivery within project timelines.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Plans, designs, and oversees software testing activities across the development lifecycle

• Defines test strategies, coordinates test environments, and ensures defect tracking

• Collaborates with development, business analysts, and project managers to align testing with project goals

• Manages functional, regression, and non-functional testing processes

• Co-ordinate test environment use

• Support test automation coverage and capability for automated regression testing

• Ensures compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices

• Leads and mentors test team members, promoting continuous improvement in test efficiency and coverage

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Manager or Senior Testing Lead in complex IT projects (min. 5 years)and preferred large core banking transformation projects

• Excellent knowledge of pricing in the banking sector incl. experience with testing of core banking fee engines (e.g. HOST/T24/Avaloq) or/and testing of satellites feeding into the fee engines

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (agile, waterfall) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)

• Experience with test automation frameworks, in particular Selenium, CI/CD integration, and performance testing tools

• Java development experience incl. use of Claude Code

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, PMP, or Agile Testing are highly desirable

• Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD

• Good communication skills, problem solving, social interaction & cross-cultural mindset, empathy & can-do spirit

• Fast learner and understanding of business context

• You take pride of your work and strive to lead by example

• Able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders

• Fluency in English (verbal/written)

• Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, SQL (Oracle), React/Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, Kubernetes (PKS) and Virtual Machines, Streaming using Kafka, Avro, Open API, UML
