Job Summary

Technology stack we use in the project (.NET/JavaScript)

Core Testing Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Knowledge of SDLC models (Agile, Waterfall)
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Scrum boards, backlogs)
• Ability to design and execute:
• Expertise in functional testing
• Experience with regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, black box testing and exploratory testing.
• Understanding of defect lifecycle and bug severity vs priority
• Knowledge of Bug Tracking Tools like-Azure DevOps (required), JIRA, HP ALM

Testing Types Knowledge

• Automated UI tests with Playwright or similar tool(required)
• Manual UI testing
• Integration testing
• System testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing concepts

Agile & Process Knowledge

• Understanding of Agile & Scrum framework
• Working experience with:
• Collaboration with developers, product owners, and Scrum Masters

Domain & Technical Understanding

• Good understanding of web applications
• Basics of:
• Knowledge of different environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong logical thinking
• Ability to identify edge cases
• Root cause analysis of defects
• Attention to detail

Communication & Soft Skills

• Clear verbal and written communication
• Ability to explain defects to developers and stakeholders
• Stakeholder coordination during UAT
• Time management and prioritization skills

Bonus / Value-Add Skills (Good to Have)

• Basic automation knowledge (to understand automation scope)
