Job Description

Are you ready to make a difference and participate in an exciting new opportunity? Leidos has an opening for a Senior Test Lead to support the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Health Service Corps (IHSC) Electronic Health Records (EHR) Modernization program. This is a remote position, with the ability to attend in-person meetings at our Reston, VA office, and at Government locations in the Washington, DC area as required. In this role you will own test strategy, planning, and execution for the modernized EHR, leading engineering, integration, regression, and data migration testing and supporting Government-led user acceptance testing so that requirements, workflows, and interfaces are validated before functionality goes live at any site.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Contractor Master Test Plan with Government concurrence and ensure compliance with the Government-approved Test and Evaluation Management Plan.
  • Develop the Test Data Management Plan and set up production-like data sets in lower environments using Government-provided replication tools.
  • Lead engineering, integration, and regression testing, support unit and end-to-end functional testing.
  • Design, build, and run automated regression testing using Katalon, Selenium, Playwright, or another Government-approved tool.
  • Plan and execute joint Government and Contractor data migration testing (extract, transform, load, and data integrity validation), including post-migration verification that data is accurate, complete, and accessible in clinical workflows.
  • Test interfaces, including connections, message formats, data integrity, and data mapping, and perform do-no-harm testing for Government systems interfaced to the EHR.
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, rollback and back-out) against the Government requirements traceability matrix and maintain test traceability.
  • Run risk-based requirements validation and workflow testing, and manage defect triage, severity definitions, and the defect and issue management process.
  • Support site deployment testing, including integration validation and medical device testing.
  • Participate in the test integration workgroup with end users, and coordinate with the clinical lead, Oracle, and subcontractor test resources.
  • Produce test process documentation (design, traceability, execution, regression, and tools) and support quality reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of software or system testing experience, including at least 3 years leading a test team or test function.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (UFT/ALM, Katalon, Selenium, or Playwright) and unit testing concepts (e.g., JUnit).
  • Experience with data migration, interface, and integration testing, ideally HL7/FHIR.
  • Experience creating Engineer Test/Configuration Integration test plans and managing requirements traceability.
  • Experience analyzing test results in healthcare or clinical workflows sufficient to judge defect severity and its operational and deployment impact.
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings at the Leidos Reston, VA office, and at Government locations in the Washington, DC area on short notice, and to travel to deployment sites as needed.

** Please be advised that during the interview, you will be required to keep your camera on, and your interviewer will be taking your picture for identification purposes if an offer letter is extended to you.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Health EHR implementation or testing experience or equivalent (e.g., VA Vista or AHLTA/CHCS)
  • Experience with federal programs (DHS/ICE or comparable), FedRAMP and DHS security authorization, and Agile delivery.
  • Correctional health or medical device integration testing experience.
  • ISTQB or similar certification.
