Job Summary

Lululemon Retail Engineering team is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer application architecture, development and innovation of new feature development to support consumer solutions. In this role, you will provide guidance and standards to Quality Engineers to provide the highest quality for each release. Support high quality automation test engineering, QA best practices, test strategy and principles. Perform other duties as assigned. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates; prioritizing work with general direction/minimal supervision. Expertise in, and owning the testing capabilities across multiple programs/projects and communicate and influence the stakeholders to have collaborated and unified development, processes and initiatives across organization. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions. Develop high quality test engineering best practices, test strategy and principles. Devise and execute training, where appropriate, to develop and elevate skills within the team. Key Responsibilities

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.
2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies /tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
• 8+ years of experience in QA and/or Development.
• 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring QA engineers, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality releases on time.
• 3+ years of experience in using automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress and should be comfortable to program as needed
• Understands the concepts of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and their significance
• 2+ years of experience working with a Point-of-Sale system – Oracle Xstore experience would be highly valued
• Familiarity with AI tools such as using Copilot to accomplish tasks
• Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing.
• Demonstrated skills using code repositories like GitHub.
• Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
• Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with IT issues and coming up with effective solutions to ensure project deliverables on time and within budget.
