Overview

Senior Test Engineer - Trade Finance TI+ for Banking Project

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and functional requirements related to Trade Finance products (LC, BG, SBLC, Inward/Outward Bills, Collections, Export/Import financing, Supply Chain Finance).
  • Prepare test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, and ensure comprehensive coverage of TI+ modules.
  • Validate end-to-end processing in TI+, including:
  • Product creation & amendments
  • Document checking & discrepancies
  • Charges, commissions, SWIFT messages
  • Settlements & accounting entries
  • Workflow approvals & user roles
  • Test SWIFT messages (MT7xx, MT4xx, MT1xx) and ensure correct formatting and mapping.
  • Validate EOD/BOD, interest calculations, charge postings, and GL entries.

Qualifications

UG or PG

Essential skills

  • Hands-on experience with Misys/Finastra TI+ (Trade Innovation Plus) is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of trade finance operations, ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG, URC, ISP98).
  • Experience in testing SWIFT messages and payment flows.

Desired skills

Finacle 11x

Experience

3–8 years of experience in functional testing for Trade Finance systems.
