Your responsibilities:

  • You are a practitioner/team member of the Quality Engineering & Testing Capability Community of Practice (CoP).Design, build and maintain a test automation suite using Java, Python, gherkin and bamboo

  • Planning and development of quality test approach, test design and test cases for Systems under this team.

  • Implement and execute test cases according to documented test design and time frames.

  • Document results and report defects.

  • Work closely with BAs, Developers, Support Analysts and Business Stakeholders to ensure understanding of the requirements andto communicate test status and issues.

  • Document test results for sign off so releases can get promoted to production.

  • Work closely with external vendors who provide automation solutions for different products and manage weekly updates.

  • Learn and use of automation tools developed internally and externally.

  • Review work done by external automation vendors andprovidedfeedback.

  • Being an active member of the QE&TCommunity of Practice (CoP)


Must have:

  • Have about 4 to 5 years of experience in test automation

  • Experience in test automation and automation principals and strategies

  • Designed, build and maintained test automation frameworks using JAVA.

  • Designed, build and maintained test automation frameworks using Python.

  • In-depth testing experience in a structured environment

  • Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, & parallel testing.

  • Experience in testing futures/ derivatives products or clearing systems

  • Experience in test environment and test data setup.

  • Worked as part of medium to large sized project teams.

  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and confluence.

  • Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.


Nice tohave:

  • Agile experience

  • Experienced in test automation and test automation tools

  • Experience in test automation with JAVA

  • Experience in test automation with Python or Python scripting

  • Exposure to git, bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle build tools

  • Exposure to Junit, cucumber testing tools.

  • Exposure to API testing, XML or any tag-based language

  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment

  • Experience in SQL Server integration and SQL

  • Exposure and understanding of setting up automation in multi nodes
