Senior Test Engineer

About the role:
The Senior Test Engineer at Sun King will be responsible for designing, executing, and reporting on various types of tests to ensure the quality and performance of products, e.g., Lighting, Solar Energy Storage System, Solar Inverters, Appliances, etc.

What you will be expected to do

• Document and communicate the test target, scope, criteria, and methods to the stakeholders.
• Plan and design test cases, test environments, and test tools that cover various aspects of functionality, reliability, safety, usability, and compatibility.
• Measure test coverage, define and optimize test strategy.
• Manage test execution activities, analyze test data, evaluate test outcomes, report issues and summarize test reports.
• Troubleshoot any test-related problems; Summarize and share technical failure analysis reports, best practices and lesson learned.
• Review and update the test plans, test cases, and test tools. Create and maintain corporate test guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders, such as customers, vendors, partners, and regulators, to ensure the test alignment and compliance.
• Train and coach junior test engineers.

You might be a strong candidate if you have/are

• More than five years of experience in relevant product debugging, testing and validation is expected, with a Bachelor Degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Strong technical skills (product architecture, standards, and test know-how) in power supply, inverter products or systems, such as power bank, energy storage system, power stations, etc.
• Familiar with the customer requirements, use cases, and scenarios that the products are expected to meet.
• Proficient skills in test methodologies, tools.
• Agile testing methodology to ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Soft skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership.
• Able to communicate well in English (read, write, listen and speak).
