We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will:

The Opportunity

Join our GPS PostProcessing GPI team to strengthen how we assure quality across critical payments and post-processing technology. This role focuses on setting a consistent automation approach across a geographically distributed engineering team and ensuring functional and non-functional coverage is built in from the start. You’ll create scalable automation frameworks and testware that can be reused across complex modules and business-critical components. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders you’ll remove impediments and resolve issues that impact delivery. Success means reliable automation coverage, clear reporting and predictable outcomes that meet agreed timelines and quality expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee a geographically distributed team of test automation engineers and embed consistent automation practices
• Interpret requirements and define automation strategies that cover functional and non-functional needs
• Design, develop, debug and maintain scalable reusable automation frameworks scripts and testware
• Own automation delivery for complex modules and critical business components across supported environments
• Govern delivery against timelines coding standards testing requirements and quality expectations
• Review test cases and shape SIT OAT and UAT scenario definition to ensure coverage and traceability
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and remove delivery impediments
• Produce test reporting and contribute to peer reviews Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Demonstrate proven experience managing geographically distributed test automation teams
• Show substantial hands-on expertise in Selenium Java and API automation including scalable framework development
• Apply practical experience with BDD TDD CI/CD Jenkins Git and related testing tools and frameworks
• Translate complex business requirements into effective reusable and maintainable automation solutions
• Use strong debugging troubleshooting and problem-solving capability to unblock delivery and improve quality
• Apply clear communication and stakeholder-management skills across business and technology teams
• Work with coding standards test quality automation governance and continuous improvement practices
• Operate effectively in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban and contribute to automation strategy and framework design
