The AI Center of Excellence within Enterprise Technology Risk and Analytics (ETRA) is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking professional to help advance Fidelity's AI Risk Management Program. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of AI governance, risk, and control strategies that enable the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies across the organization.
You will work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, and audit partners to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent agents, and third-party AI solutions. The role will focus on strengthening AI governance frameworks, evaluating AI control environments, supporting responsible AI practices, and helping the organization navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Partnering with AI Centers of Excellence (AI CoEs), technology leaders, and business stakeholders, you will perform AI risk assessments, evaluate governance and oversight processes, identify opportunities to automate and enhance risk management activities, and support the safe, secure, and compliant adoption of AI capabilities. You will also collaborate with Operational Risk, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Legal, and Internal and External Audit teams to ensure AI-related risks are appropriately managed and aligned with enterprise standards, policies, and regulatory expectations.
The Team
You will report to the Director of AI Technology Risk and join a team responsible for advancing Fidelity's enterprise AI governance and risk management capabilities. As Artificial Intelligence continues to transform how the organization serves customers and operates its business, the AI Technology Risk team plays a critical role in enabling innovation while ensuring AI solutions are deployed responsibly, securely, and in alignment with regulatory and enterprise risk expectations.
The team provides independent oversight and strategic advisory services across Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent agents, and emerging AI technologies. Working across business units and technology organizations, the team helps define AI governance standards, assess and manage AI-related risks, influence enterprise AI strategy, and promote responsible AI practices throughout the AI lifecycle.
As part of the broader Legal, Risk, and Compliance organization, you will collaborate with executive leaders, AI Centers of Excellence, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Audit, and technology teams to help shape the future of AI governance and responsible AI adoption across the enterprise.

Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
