As a Senior Technology Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of large-scale, complex and strategically important technology projects that support Peel Ports Group's business objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, suppliers and project managers, you will provide leadership and direction throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will oversee governance, financial management, risk and benefits realisation, while driving stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement and successful adoption of technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.
You'll bring extensive experience delivering complex technology projects and programmes, spanning infrastructure, systems implementations, operational technology, cyber security, integrations and business transformation initiatives. You'll have a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams within complex IT environments, managing significant budgets, supplier relationships and business-critical dependencies to achieve successful outcomes. Confident working with senior stakeholders, you'll possess excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills, alongside a thorough understanding of project governance, risk management, benefits realisation and change delivery. PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile delivery experience or equivalent project management credentials are desirable, while experience of Operational Technologies or Industrial Control Systems would be advantageous. You'll be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on project leadership. A full UK driving licence is required, with occasional travel to other Peel Ports locations across the UK (approximately 10% of the time).
