About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant The Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant is responsible for production and project support for new business development and technical enhancements to ACH, ECS, and Instant Payments. The position will be engaged in defining requirements and testing for projects and will act as a liaison between the client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes and develops system test plan components and test scripts.


In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements

  • Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet-based solutions

  • Present recommendations for resolving business problems

  • Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules

  • Provide information about communication between business and technology teams

  • Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results

  • Support project lifecycle; Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closure

  • Support testing lifecycle; Planning, Analysis, Design, Execution, Defect Management, Closure

  • Support both Waterfall and Agile Projects or work efforts

  • Work with key stake holders in Business/Product and Technology to understand objective/requirements, target completion date, and prioritize s/b priority

  • Participate in review sessions

  • Define/write requirements that meet the project objectives

  • Create test cases/scripts

  • Execute testing and defect management

  • Perform validation

  • Actively participate in project meetings

  • Provide communication and training to impacted operation teams

  • Report progress and/or issues

  • Support production falls out through Defect Leakage

  • Provide support and guidance to design and testing employees


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • ACH knowledge and experience

  • Experience supporting testing lifecycles

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Working knowledge and experience with Mainframe, Agile Methodology, JIRA, and Hogan

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skillset

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills


Job Expectations:

  • Flexible schedule. M – F with a 7:00AM – 9:00AM start time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum three full days in the office per week and up to 2 full days remote

  • Ability to work on-site at the posted work location

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$96,000.00 - $154,000.00
