As a Senior Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that all tests and analyses are carried out accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of technologists and ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring all tests and analyses are carried out accurately and efficiently

- Manage and train a team of technologists, providing guidance and support as needed

- Develop and implement new testing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations

- Review and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to clients

- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements, and implement best practices in the laboratory

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role

- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
