Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technologist in Anaesthesia to join its team in Tripoli, Libya. As a Senior Technologist in Anesthesia, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the Anaesthesiologists and other members of the healthcare team. You will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of anaesthesia equipment and procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain anaesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures

- Assist the Anaesthesiologists in administering anaesthesia to patients

- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies during surgery

- Ensure the safe and proper use of anaesthesia equipment and medications

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of anaesthesia procedures and patient information

- Train and supervise junior anaesthesia technologists

- Stay updated on new developments and advancements in anaesthesia technology and procedures

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Anaesthesia Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Anaesthesia Technologist

- Certification from a recognized Anaesthesia Technology program

- Strong knowledge of anaesthesia equipment, procedures, and medications

- Excellent technical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Fluency in English, both written and verbal

- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
