Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technicians and Tradesmen to carry out overhaul, corrective / preventive maintenance, inspection, modification, component replacement and repair works activities and be assigned to work in the following team:
  • Depot Maintenance - carry out first line maintenance for Depot facilities and E&M equipment, e.g. Wash Plant for EMU Train, Wheel Lathe Machine, Lifting Equipment, Battery Tractor, Mobile Elevating Work Platform, etc.
• Investigate and analyse failures and determine corresponding rectification work
• Supervise the team to conduct modification, test / trials and fleet check as well as carry out Safety Independent Check (SIC) on all Safety Critical Items (SCI) and commissioning check
• Complete quality documents and maintenance records
• Identify and propose remedial actions in case of major failure
• Arrange work allocation for Technicians and Tradesmen and keep track on the work progress
  
  

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ post-Craft apprenticeship work experience or 2 years’ post-Technician apprenticeship work experience
• Applicants with the Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (EMSD) would be considered in advance for the application of maintaining the Depot and E&M facilities
• IT literacy and knowledge of information systems such as Oracle, EAMS is preferred

• Candidate with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
