Senior Technician, Automation (Red Seal Millwright) – Night Shift
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–5:00 AM
License Required: Valid Red Seal Journeyman Millwright
About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Technician to support the reliability and performance of our automated material‑handling systems. What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on rotating and conveyor systems
Diagnose root‑cause issues independently and recommend improvements
Rebuild and repair gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical assemblies
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure parts availability
Work safely while coordinating repairs to minimize downtime
Basic Requirements
Valid Red Seal Journeyman Millwright license
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience (P3 guideline)
2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or millwright roles
Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and use maintenance software
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and independent work skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with conveyors, or automated distribution systems
Familiarity with equipment reliability or continuous improvement methods
Prior work in high‑automation or fast‑paced industrial environments
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Consistent night‑shift schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–5:00 AM
Zero travel — all work is performed on‑site
Stable, predictable hours supporting strong work‑life balance
Walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs in an industrial environment
Must follow all safety procedures in a highly automated facility

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $85,300 - $142,100
