Job Description

To take care of the air condition handling units.

3.1 To maintain A/C log books.
3.2 To clean the filters regularly and as required.
3.3 To maintain AHUs, FCUs, deep freezers, split A/Cs, etc.
3.4 To carry out routine / breakdown maintenance.
3.5 To actively involved in evolving long term planning for improvement in the system
3.6 Change the filters yearly
3.7 Check the belts of the AHUs
3.8 To do servicing of split A/Cs and AHU
3.9 To take stock of the items and inform the maintenance in charge to arrange for necessary material(s).
3.10 To convey day to day problems/issues to the maintenance in charge
3.11 To carry out necessary preventive maintenance on all A/C equipment’s.
3.12 To perform any related job / work when assigned by the superior.
3.13 Comply with all OSH (Occupational health and safety) and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply those requirements
3.14 Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities
3.15 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
3.16 Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and assistance with the preparation of risk assessments, incident reports
3.17 Comply with Waste management procedures and policies
3.18 Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs

3.19 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems
3.20 Maintain building and facility in a safe manner
3.21 Prepare building management plans and budgets
3.22 Prepare for and participate in Emergency management program
3.23 Provide expert advice and information in building and facilities OSH Matters
3.24 Support to develop objectives and monitor achievement of objectives and compliance with HAAD Health Sector OSHMS requirements across all departments.

3.3 A Diploma/graduate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or its equivalent.
3.4 At least three (3) years’ experience in the same field.
3.5 Fluent in spoken and written English. Arabic language is advantageous but not essential.
