Senior Technician is primarily responsible for carrying out routine scheduled maintenance activities in line with the Mars food safety & quality standards for maintaining Asset health and equipment uptime. The job also involves coordinating with the internal & external stake holders for carrying out the job smoothly.
The scope of this position involves handling the mechanical maintenance activities on a shift. It involves coordination with various internal stakeholders, such as Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, etc. to perform the activities. Compliance of the job with the safety/quality standards is one of the key requirements. It also involves the ability to maintain a balance between meeting day-to-day issues and completing daily planned activities. The scope involves further interpersonal and communication skills, good planning & organization, and problem-solving capability.
ITI in Fitter from a reputed university with atleast 5 years (ITI) working in industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in maintenance and/or engineering role able to work in all areas of the factory.
Attending Breakdowns and analysis with relevant TPM tools
Knowledge of high-speed wrapping machines (Flow wrap & fold wrap)
Carrying out Preventive and Predictive checks for improving Asset health
Cross-functional interaction with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth work handover
Align with Mars food/work safety standards & quality standards
Maintaining the documentation for the shift activities
Spares Identification and coordinate with the store for the right spare availability
Subject expertise in the Mechanical works
Understanding Operational issues and training on the same
Co-ordinate with contractors & vendors for Jobs required in Asset health checks
Collaboration with Safety, Food Safety, and Other Stakeholders
Ensure the adherence of the job to Sustainability, HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI requirements.
