Comprehensive Technical Responsibilities

Perform a full range of technical tasks, including but not limited to:

  • System and Board-Level Troubleshooting and Repair Diagnose and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies, ensuring proper operation within semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintenance Schedules Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity, reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Installations Lead or assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and integration with existing systems.
  • Technical Writing Create and update technical documentation, including detailed repair manuals, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Spare Parts and Consumables Management Oversee spare parts inventory, including the identification, procurement, and organization of essential components to support ongoing maintenance and repair activities.

Collaboration with Production Engineers in Semiconductor Manufacturing

  • Work closely and effectively with production engineers in a hands-on, highly innovative semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency, enhance product quality, and address engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies, providing technical support and expertise during the transition to production.

Following and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Ensure that all SOPs are followed to maintain consistency, safety, and quality standards in semiconductor manufacturing operations.
  • Continuously review and update SOPs to reflect changes in processes, equipment, and best practices, ensuring they meet current regulatory and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in a relevant field or 2-3 years experience in a related industry.
  • Expertise in Troubleshooting Electronic, Robotic, and Pneumatic Components:
    • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic, robotic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
    • Proficient in identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
    • Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software to analyze system errors and ensure proper functionality of all components.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team, contributing to shared goals and supporting team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly follow and implement verbal instructions and written procedures.
    • Possess strong technical writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, precise, and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IPG manufacturing processes.
  • A strong desire to continuously learn, grow, and succeed within the industry, coupled with a willingness to embrace challenges and expand skillsets.

Wage Information


MA: $22.54/h - $29.87/h

The pay range on this posting applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location posted, the applicable range could differ. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Other Compensation Employees in this role are eligible for additional rewards which could include:

  • Annual Discretionary Bonus or Sales Bonus as Applicable
