Job Description

We are looking for detail-oriented and safety-conscious Specialists to support our production operations. This role involves formulating, preparing, mixing, and applying bespoke coating formulations, monitoring processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulation of various Special Coatings, Paints and Bases

• Application of coatings using automated systems.

• Match finishes according to specifications or sample references.

• Inspect and test completed work for quality, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.

• Maintain spray equipment, tools, and work area in good condition.

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper ventilation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Record materials used and maintain inventory of paints and supplies.

• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC or relevant Certificate in Engineering, Chemical Process, Applied Science, or related field.

• Proven experience as a lab technician, process technician or other relevant fields in coatings technology [automotive/manufacturing/construction/etc.] will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of different coating types, finishes, and application techniques will be advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, high-quality results.

• Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness

Working Conditions

• Exposure to aerosol fumes, dust, and other airborne materials

• PPE will be provided and must be worn for extended periods of time.

• May involve overtime, weekend work or temporary shift work depending on project deadlines.
