What we are looking for

We are looking for a Senior Technician who will support environmental engineering and consulting projects through a combination of field and office work. In this role, you will assist with environmental investigations, data collection, and project documentation while working alongside engineers and project teams. The position involves field activities such as sampling, construction inspection, system monitoring, and environmental testing, with opportunities to contribute to project reporting and operational support.

This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while supporting a variety of environmental projects.

How you can make an impact

• Assists in all aspects of field work which may include:

• Field sampling (soils, water, air, and solid waste)

• Construction inspection and possible clerk-of –the-works

• Construction quality assurance

• Surveying

• Gas or remedial system maintenance and monitoring

• Field work documentation

• Waste characterization studies

• Preparation of field test reports and report writing as requested

• Assists, and in some cases takes the lead in training engineering technicians, associate staff, and staff professionals in field activities

• Assist in office operations when requested
• Reports to the Group Leader, administratively.
• Reports to the Project Manager or lead professional on project work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering field work required.
• AA degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
