About This Role

The Sr. Technical Value Stream Manager will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within Carrier Digital. This role will work on a range of hardware and software products critical to Carrier’s continued business growth. As a Sr. Technical Value Stream Manager, you will be the technical and functional leader of one or more scrum teams responsible for solving complex business and technology issues, from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the development of various categories of software for applications and operating systems.
• Manages the team that develops, codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Oversees technical staff to understand and resolve software problems. Responds to customer suggestions for improvements/enhancements.
• Plans for future platform requirements to support business needs. Establishes Development Operations (DevOps) strategy to ensure quality software deployments and overall application health and performance.
• Manages quality assurance audits across software platforms to confirm accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of software or product development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise and domain knowledge of networking design patterns
• Expertise and domain knowledge of IoT design patterns
• Expertise and domain knowledge of embedded development design patterns
• Expertise and domain knowledge of distributed system design patterns
• Demonstrated expertise in real life products that have made it to market.
• Deep understanding of how technology can affect future Carrier solutions.
• Sales/Solution Engineering experience.
