WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
As the Sr. Developer for Security Technology, you will play a key role in immediate and long-term strategic technical delivery direction for a multi-disciplined team of technical resources. Nurturing culture and facilitating learning and knowledge sharing will be second nature as well as applying your technical know-how to ensure that our platform is on the leading edge of technical delivery practices. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Be a trusted technical partner to the team, helping to solution, size, prioritize, and guide development activities, product maintenance and evolution of the platform.
The candidate will divide their time across system design, development and deployment (60%), production support and analysis (30%), and documentation (10%)
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software following best practices and coding standards.
Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on async/await patterns, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with architects and teams to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
Contribute to modernizing legacy systems through API-driven architectures and DevOps practices.
Work closely with team members and business partners to understand requirements and implement effective solutions
Take ownership of both tactical and strategic solutions aligned with system roadmap initiatives
Proactively identify system inefficiencies and propose solutions to stakeholders
Follow SDLC best practices by supporting metrics, test-driven development, release cycles, change management, and cross-functional communication
Document system design, solution proposals, and release notes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Be responsible for delivering and deploying features to production, ensuring quality controls are in place. Work with your team to harden, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues in production.
Automate processes within the development pipeline; identify opportunities for efficiency gains and reducing time-to-market, and enabling continuous delivery
Provide hands-on development support to the team in the form of code reviews or code contributions when needed
Champion a diverse and inclusive team culture
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCED?
Must-have
5+ years of development experience with .NET, C/C++/C#
Experience with IDE tools such as Visual Studio, Rational Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse
Experience with automated testing (unit, functional, performance)
Manage maintenance initiatives from planning stage to closure
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Experience with Generative AI, Machine Learning and Large Language Models
Completed in Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent
Nice-to-have
Experience with zOS Mainframe
Experience with Java and Java script
Knowledge of SQL and DB2 on zOS
Experience working with RESTful APIs
Exposure to generative AI/ML integration in financial workflows.
Experience with devops pipeline using github, jenkin, UCD and logs/monitoring tools like kibana, Dynatrace etc and openshift cloud platform
