In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team providing senior technical expertise to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of tolling technology within the Customer Technology branch.
This role will see you leading complex second line support to ensure timely and efficient resolution of incidents and services requests, change governance, and operational readiness for releases, delivering high quality customer outcomes and protecting revenue services.
You will provide technical leadership and cross-functional support to ensure system performance, cybersecurity compliance, and the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives. You will drive operational excellence by managing technical documentation, mentoring staff, and utilizing data-driven reporting to proactively resolve complex issues and mitigate risks.

About you
You will have extensive experience operating mission-critical customer facing applications (incident, problem, change, release) in large-scale government or regulated environments. You will also have experience with tolling platforms or comparable large‑scale transaction systems, including payment, ticketing, or mission‑critical transport technologies, interchange workflows, and performance tuning
This position is based at our Parramatta Square office and will work within the team’s established rhythm. This currently includes regular in-person collaboration days on Tuesday and Wednesday, subject to changes as per workplace presence requirements. This position will require some flexibility to work evenings and occasionally overnight, as well as infrequent weekend work, to support critical 24/7 operational activities.
