
This hybrid role of Technical Service and Business development is a strategic driver, not only managing technical & application service operations but also leveraging technical expertise to support business expansion, client engagement, and revenue growth. It requires a combination of technical acumen, business insight, leadership, and strategic thinking, effectively bridging application know-how and innovation with market-driven business development.
• Support multiple functions (R&D/Markets) in savory flavours, including flavour selection & implementation, briefing to customers & Sales team.
• Understand formulation and processing of processed food applications (i.e. instant noodle, sauce, seasoning, meat & seafood…) for the best use of flavour application.
• Handle customer project briefs professionally and liaise with internal team to make sure on time and good quality of submissions and documentations.
• Upgrade and maintain flavour portfolio in line with new developments and technical criteria.
• Conduct sensory evaluations of existing and potential library flavours.
• Assist Sales/Marketing with customer presentations and product demos.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to identify/assess new business opportunities based on awareness of industry and flavour trends.
• Collaborate with Sales team & join customer visit to accelerate new projects for flavour.
• Innovation and marketing driven for savory flavours, build annual marketing plan and roadshow plan to promote flavour concepts in alignment with sales team and clients.
• Work closely and collaborate with Clients to successfully apply flavour and enhance project win rate.
Work experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role, experience in savory flavor application is a must
• Understanding Flavour technology, flavor evaluation, effectively apply in new product development and business development
Functional skills and knowledge
• 4 years combining technical management and business development roles
• B2B commercial sense with technical/solution approach
• Working knowledge of food industry and flavor
• Knowledge and experience about savory flavor, food ingredients and additives
• Knowledge and experience in different food processing and applications
• Experience in technical sales or revenue-driven positions is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of sales cycles, client management, revenue planning, and market analysis
• Good at in English, both written and spoken.

• Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and deliver project
• Capability to interpret market data, assess technical solutions, and develop growth strategies.
