
Senior Technical Publication Project Management Specialist

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Technical Publication Project Management Specialist in JB Lewis-McChord, WA The selected candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical manual data and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within aerospace production and maintenance programs. This position involves analyzing configuration changes, developing integrated schedules, and supporting program metrics and reporting while collaborating closely with military or commercial customers to meet contract requirements and drive process improvements.
Candidates should have strong experience interpreting engineering drawings, interfacing directly with customers, and supporting presentations and program briefings. The role requires a proactive approach to issue resolution, process documentation, and coordination of audits and change management to enhance overall program success and customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Develop processes and coordinate activities to ensure technical manual data/procedures are documented and current
Develop integrated master schedules and develop reports to support metrics development and tracking
Receive, coordinate and estimate impact of change requests
Conduct presentations and status reviews
Monitor technical data development at the program level to ensure data is developed and delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract requirements
Analyze, updates and documents processes to ensure technical manual data/procedures are documented and current
Coordinate schedules and develop reports
Evaluate configuration changes for impact to publication data; incorporates changes into schedule
Support presentations and program management briefings
Make recommendations for new business and support implementation of new projects
Monitor technical data development at the unit level
Develop and deliver data on schedule in accordance with contract requirements
Analyze updates and documents processes to verify technical manual data/procedures are documented and current
Coordinate schedules and develop reports
Review configuration changes for impact to publication data; incorporates changes into schedule
Prepare agreements, pricing quotes and scheduling requirements
Support presentations and program management briefings
Support implementation of new projects
Develop processes and coordinates audits
Create flow diagrams, process steps and metrics
Verify technical manual data/procedures are documented, accurate and current
Receive documented changes and analyze configuration data to determine how publications are impacted
Forward change data and gather changes from impacted organization
Evaluate changes for accuracy/applicability
Schedule work per documented policies
Monitor technical data development at the unit level
Develop metrics and data to support program management briefings
Solicit customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction with company services
Support customer presentations and program reviews
Investigate and resolve issues as directed
Support development of presentations to program/customers
Support implementation of new projects
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Experience in aerospace production and maintenance
Experience interfacing directly with military or commercial customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
C-17 Technical Publications experience
