Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in engineering or technical program management, working cross-functionally with development teams to develop and manage hardware projects.
• 3 years of experience in consumer electronics or hardware.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience launching and commercializing new products and features.
• Ability to work closely with engineers to navigate ambiguity and early stage technologies.
• Ability to manage programs effectively, and influence large teams, including executives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, define and drive consumer hardware programs by identifying and defining challenges and decomposing them into workstreams.
  
• Navigate through ambiguity to define and drive programs that span Electrical Engineering (EE), Optics, Physical Design (PD), Product Management (PM), and Software across internal teams, external partners, and contract manufacturers.
  
• Build effective program teams and lead them to make timely, data based decisions across a broad range of technical disciplines through decision-making processes.
  
• Establish a cadence for program reviews and phase-gate meetings and represent programs in the portfolio across product area-level touchpoints.
• Maintain and propagate high-level program perspectives across the team to help team members solve the problems.
