A successful Technical Program Manager is self-starting, independent, and demonstrates ownership over program schedule, budget, and resource identification including deliverables such as design reviews, tollgates, bill of material releases, product documentation, validation,andlifecycle management. They will work closely with System Engineers, Product Line Managers, Subsystem Program Managers, Sourcing, and Configuration Management to maintain a tightly interconnected team working towards the common goal of developing world-classfield servicing of wind turbines
Roles and Responsibilities
Own the development and update of integrated program schedule, budget, resource identification, and priority discussions for large services programs from conception through product sunset.
Coordinate deliverables, execution, and detailed schedules with Subsystem Program Managersand Functional Managersto escalate visibility to critical path activities.
Provide cross-functional product leadership, working across Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects, Services,Advanced Research Center,and external parties to ensure that critical product development milestones are achieved.
Facilitate issue resolution with close connection to the Services Systems Engineer and Product Manager, including development of contingency plans and scenario planning.
Organize and lead weekly operating rhythms with the program teams, driving technical discussions, minutes of meeting, and action tracking.
Lead communication and escalation of programmatic and technical risks to the programteam
Assure compliancewithengineering processes to maintain a high-quality standard of work outputs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or similar
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Renewable Energy Engineering or related fields
