The Akamai Inference Cloud team, within Akamai's Cloud Technology Group, builds AI platforms for efficient inference models and innovative AI applications.

This position demands expertise in AI/ML systems, outstanding organizational abilities, and experience managing large-scale technical programs within rapidly evolving markets.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end program planning and execution for major AI platform initiatives, which includes defining technical roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Driving cross-functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resources, and ensuring cross-functional activities and deliverables complete on time and within scope.
• Overseeing the Product Development Process and entire software development lifecycle, including release phases, for AI products and solutions.
• Leveraging technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, and managing programs from concept to market, including planning, risk, and schedule management.
• Establishing program metrics, monitoring progress, communicating updates to senior leaders, and offering guidance while mentoring team members informally.

• Have extensive experience in technical program management, cloud infrastructure engineering or AI/ML
• Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed
• Inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority
• Demonstrate ability in change management and transformation processes
• Have significant experience in Agile processes and methodologies
• Have professional experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Thrive in a fast paced environment having to manage high visibility, time sensitive, large scale complex programs.
