ISS STOXX is seeking a Product Manager – Index Data Distributionto joinour Software Product ManagementteaminSTOXXlead the next generation of our index data distribution strategy and platform capabilities across entitlement, access control, and multi-channel delivery.This individual willdrive product strategy end-to-endand act as the accountable interface between business outcomes and technical executionto mature howSTOXX delivers index data to clients globally,including Web portals, APIs, bulk delivery mechanisms, MCP (AI enablingpipelines), and third-partydata marketplace integrations
This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and delivery outcomesfor index data distribution and is expected to make senior leveltradeoffsacross scalability, client experience, security, and operational resilience. Individual Contributor role with strategic ownership and strong technical accountability.

Key Responsibilities
1.Product Strategy – Data Distribution
Define, own, and continuously evolve STOXX’s index data distribution product strategy and target architecture.Assess client needs, market trends, regulatory constraints, and internal platform capabilities to shape a multiyear, outcome drivenroadmaptowardsoptimizingand modernizingindex datadistribution.Understandthe future of datadistribution byworking across third party platform distributors and directly with client distribution platforms.
2.Product Discovery & Requirements Definition
Lead structured product discovery and design sessions withclients,business, technology, operationsTranslate business and client needs into clear product requirements, technical specifications, andprioritisedbacklog items.
Own product documentation including problem statements, solution options, tradeoffs, and decision rationale.
Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
3.Technical Delivery Collaboration
Own backlogprioritisationbased on client value, risk, technical dependencies, and strategic alignment.Define sprint goals, provide product direction to engineering teams, and coach junior Product Managers and Business Analysts asrequired
Define acceptance criteria, nonfunctional requirements (performance, resilience, security), and collaborate with QA to ensure production readydelivery.
Act asescalationpoint for complex delivery issues and makeprioritisationtradeoffs tomaintainmomentum and quality.
Follow progress and proactively address issues during sprints.
Refine agile methodologies based on feedback.
4.Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Primary senior product contact for client service, commercial, and operations teams on all index data distribution topics.
Present roadmaps to leadership.
Partner with commercial teams on pricing, packaging, andgo to marketstrategy for data distribution products and channels.
Contribute to governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates with cleardata driveninsights.
5.Continuous Improvement
Define and monitor KPIs for availability, latency, data quality, entitlement accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Drive automation, resilience, and observability improvements across distribution pipelines.
Reduce distribution errors and enhance client experience.
RequiredQualifications & Skills
Essential
Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in finance, IT, ora relatedfield
7+ years of experience in software or data product management, with at least 3 yearsintechnically complex, platform-orientedproducts.
Strong understanding of modernindex or analyticsdata distributionarchitectures, including APIs, event/batch delivery, entitlement models, and access controls.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior engineers and architects on design and tradeoff decisions.
Experience defining API/FTP/Web distribution requirements.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the index businesspreferred
Experience with agentic solution incorporation
Handson experience with cloud-baseddata platforms and distribution, preferablyGCP
Familiarity with authentication, SFTP security, RESTful API design.
Experience providing functional leadership, mentoring, or coaching within a product or delivery organisation

Strong analytical skillsand a passion for working with data to solve business challenges.
