As a Senior Managerin software engineering, you willbe responsible forproviding project definition and implementation through hands-on management of multiple software development teamsleveragingAgile Scrum development and project management best practices defined by the company. You will undertake the execution of software development projects to achieve the company’s strategicobjectivesand must work closely with Product Leaders & other managers.

This positionis located inRichmond, VAand offers aschedule ofMonday to Thursday inofficeand theoptionto workfrom homeon Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for architecture, project ownership, and team leadership.

  • Leadmultipleteamsoftalentedsoftware developers in building applications and platforms using modern Typescript, React, NodeJS, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.

  • Manageand coordinate projects within teams and across departments Act as a player coach.

  • Work directly with senior leaders in Marketing Organizations and Product Leaders to design applications that amaze your customers.

  • Apply sound quality management methods,toolsand techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization

  • Act as "Voice of the Customer" whenparticipatingin product readiness reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in personuniversity or college

  • Full stack development experience

  • 3+years of team leadership experience

  • A demonstrabletrack recordof building and launching successful products

  • Experience usingTypescript, Elastic, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies

  • Proficiencyin Continuous Delivery best practices

  • Understanding AI technologies and hashands onexperience in AI adoption and development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to communicate at a levelappropriate tothe audience (direct reports,peersand senior management)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading products throughout the software development life cycle

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React

  • Familiar with Marketing Eco-Systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot is a bonus.
