Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to spearhead data analytics initiatives leveraging the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) within the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in ELK with strong leadership skills and telecom industry knowledge to deliver scalable, high-performance analytics solutions.

Required Skills

• Core Technical Expertise -

ELK Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (installation, configuration, cluster management).
Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat) for data collection.
Query DSL, KQL, scripted fields in Elasticsearch.
Logstash plugins (Grok, JSON, Mutate) for parsing telecom data.

• Programming & Tools 

Python, Shell scripting for automation and data processing.
Familiarity with Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Linux/Unix proficiency.

• Telecom Analytics

Understanding of telecom protocols (LTE, 5G,NSA).
Experience with network KPIs and Service KPIs

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and analysts on ELK-based projects.
• Define technical architecture and roadmap for telecom analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.

ELK Stack Implementation
•  Design, configure, and manage ELK clusters for large-scale telecom data.
• Develop Logstash pipelines for ingestion, parsing, and enrichment of telecom logs (e.g., CDRs, network KPIs).
• Create advanced Kibana dashboards for real-time visualization and analytics.

Integration & Optimization
• Integrate ELK with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark) and streaming platforms (Kafka).
• Optimize Elasticsearch for high-volume telecom datasets (indexing, shards, replicas, query performance).
• Implement alerting and anomaly detection for network performance and fraud analytics.

Qualifications required

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 10+ years in software/data engineering, with 4+ years in ELK and telecom analytics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
