Job Summary

OpenText AppWorks Senior Developer

Experience

7+ years in software development, including 4+ years hands-on with AppWorks (or Process Suite)

Role summary

Builds the most complex parts of an AppWorks solution (case workflows, SLA and escalation logic, and integrations) and acts as technical deputy to the AppWorks Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Case development: Build AppWorks entities and building blocks for the full case lifecycle, from creation and assignment to review, approval and closure.
• Workflow: Develop BPM processes for review loops, information requests, rejections, disputes and multi-level approvals.
• SLAs and escalations: Implement timers, automated reminders and escalations.
• Integration: Develop REST/SOAP interfaces with ERP modules (e.g. accounts payable, procurement, general ledger) and other enterprise systems.
• Notifications and reporting: Configure email/SMS notifications and templates; build reports, dashboards and tracking views.
• Quality and support: Review junior developers' work, unit test, fix defects, deploy releases and provide second/third-line support.
