Job Summary

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The SAP CRM Functional Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP CRM solutions to support HCLTech’s clients in achieving their business objectives. This role is integral to driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring seamless integration of CRM functionalities with broader enterprise systems. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects and contribute to the organization’s reputation for excellence in technology solutions.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze client business processes and requirements to develop SAP CRM solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Lead and participate in the configuration and customization of SAP CRM modules, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications and system designs.
• Conduct system testing, user training, and provide support during deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP CRM with other SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP CRM modules, providing timely and effective solutions to clients.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and business processes for knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Stay updated with SAP CRM developments, best practices, and new features to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Provide ongoing client support and contribute to building strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SAP CRM Functional Consultant, with hands-on expertise in SAP CRM module configuration and implementation.
• Strong understanding of business processes related to sales, marketing, and customer service within CRM frameworks.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in collaborating with technical teams for system integration and troubleshooting.
• SAP CRM certification or equivalent credentials will be an advantage.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)

• Experience with S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BW).
• Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
• Ability to work in multicultural, geographically distributed teams.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
