HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled SAP MM/WM Lead with 6–8 years of SAP implementation experience and strong expertise in Greenfield, Brownfield, and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs within the steel manufacturing industry.

Technology: SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and EWM

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM/WM solution design and implementation activities.
• Conduct business process workshops and fit-gap assessments.
• Configure Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution processes.
• Drive Greenfield and Brownfield SAP implementation programs.
• Design material master, vendor master and inventory governance processes.
• Manage integration with PP, SD, QM, PM, FICO and EWM modules.
• Lead SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare activities.
• Support large-scale data migration and reconciliation.
• Mentor consultants and coordinate offshore/onshore teams.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate and project governance standards.

Steel Industry Expertise

• Understanding of raw material procurement including iron ore, coal, coke, alloys and consumables.
• Knowledge of steel production supply chain and warehouse operations.
• Experience in inventory management across mines, plants, yards and warehouses.
• Exposure to batch management, handling unit management and stock reconciliation.
• Understanding of dispatch, logistics and finished goods management.

Technical Skills

• SAP S/4HANA MM, WM and EWM expertise.
• Procurement Lifecycle Management.
• Inventory Management and Physical Inventory processes.
• Release Strategies and Approval Workflows.
• Batch Management and Serial Number Management.
• Warehouse Structures, Storage Types and Bin Management.
• Integration with SAP Fiori applications.
• SAP Interfaces, IDocs and third-party integrations.

Mandatory Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Technology or related discipline. SAP S/4HANA MM/EWM certification preferred.
