Job Summary

Application Support & Configuration

• Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Willow IP and/or Willow Ambulatory applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic system configurations.
• Support pharmacy workflow optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve application incidents and service requests.

Implementation & Enhancements

• Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and new feature deployments.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and operational teams to gather requirements.
• Configure medication records, dispensing workflows, order verification, and pharmacy-related functionality.
• Support integrated testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with pharmacists, IT teams, clinicians, and Epic application teams.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including Orders, ASAP, Ambulatory, Beacon, and Clinical Documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to leadership.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Support audit activities and documentation reviews.
• Maintain system integrity and data quality within Epic Willow applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 6 to 9 years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of Epic Willow experience.
• Active Epic Willow Certification (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory).
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medication management workflows.
• Experience supporting production environments and handling incident/problem management.
• Knowledge of Epic upgrade and release management processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
