We are seeking an experienced Build & Tools Engineer to own and enhance the build, CI/CD, release, and developer productivity ecosystem for a large-scale software and embedded systems platform. The role involves designing and maintaining build infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerized build environments, toolchain integration, release automation, and troubleshooting complex cross-functional build issues.
The engineer will work closely with development, platform, infrastructure, and release teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient software delivery.
Build Infrastructure & Tooling
Own and maintain build systems for large multi-repository software projects.
Manage build orchestration, dependency handling, artifact generation, and packaging workflows.
Support embedded and cross-platform build environments.
Maintain build tools and developer productivity frameworks.
CI/CD Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Implement pipeline automation for build, validation, packaging, testing, and release processes.
Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.
Integrate quality gates, security scans, and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.
Containerization & Build Environments
Design and maintain Docker-based build environments.
Manage containerized toolchains and build dependencies.
Troubleshoot Docker build issues, image optimization, and artifact integration.
Support migration from legacy build environments to containerized workflows.
Toolchain & Embedded Build Support
Integrate and maintain cross-compilation toolchains.
