They have a global footprint of 2,000+ data scientists and analysts who assist client organizations with complex risk minimization methods, advanced marketing, pricing and CRM strategies, internal cost analysis, and cost and resource optimization within the organization. They serve the insurance, healthcare, banking, capital markets, utilities, retail and e-commerce, travel, transportation and logistics industries.

ROLE

We are seeking a Lead Insurance Analyst who will play a key customer-facing role for an Insurance customer. Candidate should have extensive consulting experience in the Insurance industry. This is a Hybrid role with 2 days per week from the office in Boston, MA.

ROSES & RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

• Expected to work in close collaboration with the Client team and the internal team on establishing relationships with stakeholders, identifying new opportunities in areas of growth
• Provide Project, Client & Team Management and Monitor the progress of deliverables on a daily basis and ensure timely resolution of any issues
• Facilitate seamless flow of communication from top to bottom and the other way around for seamless execution of projects
• Manage cross-functional team of resources
• Actively seeks ways of improving current methods, systems, processes and structures
• Ensure Industry best practices are followed, Communicate and follow up with the delivery team
• Brainstorming on pain areas/Identifying reasons for issues/Issue Resolution, diagnosis of inefficiencies in the current process, and figuring out ways to resolve it
• Provide technical direction to project team members across data modeling, data manipulation, visualization, predictive modeling, Reporting, and Automation projects across the Insurance Value Chain

• Develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients across Insurance functions
• Manage the program governance framework
• Strategically align the business vision and objectives to the projects initiated in different teams
• Build a thorough understanding of the client's brand, businesses, customers, and competitive landscape and provide strategic guidance in building requisite project management initiatives

• Facilitate client working sessions and lead recurring project status meetings
• Manage day-to-day project operations, and serve as the functional and domain expert on the project team to ensure that they meet client expectations

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research, or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
• 9-11 years of Core Analytics experience with prior Consulting/Implementation Experience preferably with Insurance Clients (P&C)
• Extensive experience in Pricing /Product Analytics (Pricing model development, maintenance, modernization)
• Experience in working in dual shore engagement and must have experience in managing clients directly
• Competitor analysis, and Adhoc data analysis to solve business problems
• Complete understanding and demonstrated experience in Python, R/SAS, SQL, Visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau, and various modeling techniques
• Managerial experience in leading analytics teams including career management of offshore staff, training, recruiting
• Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to take initiative
• Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in fast fast-paced continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
• Can understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
