Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Technical Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!

About:

A Senior Technical Engineer (Cisco & Zscaler) is a senior-level technical operations and infrastructure leader responsible for managing enterprise network, security, voice, and secure access environments across complex corporate infrastructures. The role combines advanced technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure high availability, security compliance, incident resolution, and continuous improvement across Cisco networking, Cisco ISE, telephony systems, SD-WAN, and Zscaler platforms.

-Candidates must already have legal authorization to work in Egypt.

Responsibilities:

  • Incident & Operations Leadership: Leading P1/P2 incident management activities, crisis coordination, root cause analysis (RCA), and service restoration within SLA targets.
  • Cisco ISE & NAC Management: Managing and optimizing Cisco ISE environments including 802.1X, MAB, posture assessment, profiling, PKI, and policy administration.
  • Zscaler Administration: Administering ZIA/ZPA policies, secure access integrations, GRE/IPSec tunnels, authentication systems, and secure web access operations.
  • Voice & Collaboration Support: Supporting SIP trunks, SBCs, IVR/call routing, UC systems, and telephony integrations.
  • Network Infrastructure Operations: Managing enterprise routing, switching, SD-WAN, QoS, VLAN/VXLAN, and Cisco infrastructure environments.
  • Change & Release Governance: Planning, validating, reviewing, and executing operational changes while ensuring compliance with ITIL governance standards.
  • Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Maintaining dashboards, SOPs, runbooks, operational reporting, and automation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Coordinating with customers, vendors, carriers, engineering teams, and operational teams to ensure service stability and improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7–12 years of experience in enterprise networking, security, voice operations, or technical management roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE, Cisco networking, SIP/RTP, SBCs, SD-WAN, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, QoS, routing/switching, VLAN/VXLAN, and enterprise security operations.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCNP, Cisco ISE certifications/training, Zscaler ZCCA-IA/ZCCA-PA, and ITIL Foundation.
  • Additional Skills: Exposure to cloud security, automation, scripting, Python, or Ansible is considered an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, incident management, RCA, documentation, and operational governance skills.
