Job Description

  • Provide advanced (Tier 3) support for Microsoft technologies: Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, SQL Server, and Hyper-V.
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for multiple clients.
  • Lead and execute infrastructure projects, including migrations, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as SCOM and Azure Monitor.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and SCCM task sequences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues quickly and effectively.
  • Participate in technical consultations, client meetings, and project planning sessions.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with the department lead (Senior Technical Engineer) to deliver high-quality support services.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure support or systems engineering.
  • Experience working in a vendor support or managed service provider (MSP) environment is a plus.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (VMs, ASR, Defender, identity, and networking).
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2012–2022) and Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, Sites & Services).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SCCM (deployment, patching, compliance).
  • Solid understanding of SCOM (monitoring, alert tuning, custom dashboards).
  • Experience with SQL Server administration (installation, tuning, backup/restore).
  • Hyper-V expertise (VM creation, replication, clustering).
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
  • MCSA / MCSE

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and work under pressure.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
