We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Technical Consultant (Post Sales) to join our growing team. In this role, you will help customers adopt the Workato platform for integration and automation from both business and technical perspectives. You will define and drive best practices, working with customer business and technical stakeholders. You will help Workato extend the functionality of our product and continuously improve our engagement best practices. In this role, you will also be responsible to:
Onboard new customers to the Workato platform, providing technical consulting, guidance, and enablement to help them realize value quickly
Partner with customers to gather integration and automation requirements and lead the solution design process
Advise on technical and business best practices, including deployment models, architecture, and governance
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer requirements and feedback, identify opportunities for platform enhancements, and manage expectations around product capabilities
Demonstrate how Workato can enable business automation across direct deployments and embedded solutions in a variety of industries
Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and serve as their advocate within Workato
Conduct post-onboarding health checks and provide recommendations to optimize integrations, automations, and overall platform adoption
Contribute to the growth and enablement of the technical consulting organization by creating and improving presentations, demos, best practices, architecture patterns, training materials, and online courses
Deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience throughout the engagement lifecycle
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while supporting additional team initiatives as needed
5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions consulting, implementation consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role
Strong knowledge of integration architecture, APIs, and system design principles
Familiarity with current technology and industry trends, particularly within the application integration and automation space
Proven track record of designing and implementing reliable, scalable integration solutions using established best practices
Working knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and cloud-based environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and management
End-to-end experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including developing, supporting, and troubleshooting integrations
Ability to produce clear, accurate, and effective technical documentation
Hands-on experience with at least one integration platform, such as Workato, Tray.io, TIBCO, Boomi, MuleSoft, webMethods, or Oracle Integration Cloud
Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or SAP is a plus
Knowledge of web development frameworks and JavaScript across frontend and backend environments is a plus
Exposure to OEM or embedded SaaS solutions is a plus
Experience embedding third-party integrations, applications, or iFrames within web applications is a plus
Strong collaboration skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic start-up environment with a passion for making an impact
Critical thinking and analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience
Fast learner who can independently conduct extensive research and quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options
Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge
