A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Plans and priorities clinical, technical and education programmers with review and input from sales staff in the District and other functional groups, i.e. marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc., consistent with the District Business Plan
  • Provides technical support to the customers of the District/network team, both before and after the implant of the device. Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers on request
  • Participates in the development of customer training/education programmers. Prepares study materials, plans, organizes, and conducts training to customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the District Sales force/network team
  • Conducts technical and clinical trainings for Sales force in the District, and for other TCC's and other CRM staff in the country.Helps in planning and reviewing their individual education progress
  • Builds strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process
  • Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures
  • Reports immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks etc), including conduction of Field Actions.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of all CRM product lines and therapies (Brady/AF, Tachy, HF)
  • Fluency in English
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operation room environment
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers/subordinates
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literacy
  • Full clean drivers’ license.

Optional qualifications include nursing experience or experience as a nurse/physician assistant with at least 20 ARM implants per year, prior training or education experience, a degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Biology or another relevant advanced field, as well as knowledge of the competitive marketplace.
