We are looking for Senior Technical Business Analysts to join our Digital Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our hand-held devices, optimizing inventory levels, and creating a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with Product Owner’s and business users to document detailed requirements.
  • Collaborating with Iteration Managers to ensure delivery team is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Joining forces with Tech Leads to ensure solutions designed are fit for purpose and align with business expectations.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of cloud-based solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational readiness.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and nontechnical stakeholders, translating complex architectural and platform concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Applying your inquisitive nature to explore and understand complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development of mobile and web applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand retail processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Utilising your strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Experience working as a Senior level Business Analyst in previous roles.
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, including core services, IAM, networking and security, combined with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps ways of working, GitHub source control (branching, pull requests, actions), and a foundational grasp of containerisation concepts.
  • Technical experience with SQL is considered highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience with mobile and web application development.
  • Experience in process and systems mapping tools.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • An inquisitive nature, always seeking to understand and improve business processes.
  • Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools for requirements, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Experience defining and documenting technical user stories and tasks across the end-to-end ecosystem (UI, BFF, microservices, backend, etc.).
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and skills.
  • Retail industry experience would be desirable but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting. (nice to have)
