Statkraft has been making clean energy possible for over a century. Today, we are Europe’s largest renewable energy producer and a global company in energy market operations. But there’s more work to be done – that’s why we need you to join us.
Working in Markets:
The business area Markets is responsible for commercially optimising and developing Statkraft’s flexible generation portfolio, as well as delivering market solutions to customers through our Trading & Origination (T&O) unit. Across Europe, Statkraft originates, markets and optimises well over 15 GW of assets placing us among the largest integrated physical origination and flexibility platforms in Europe.
Within T&O, the Origination division creates value for customers and the societies we operate in by developing tailored, long-term energy solutions. We continually innovate, putting renewable energy and flexible assets to work in new ways as markets and regulation evolve. Statkraft’s origination business is a recognised leader in bespoke customer solutions, including renewable energy and flexibility offtake agreements and long-term power trading.
Statkraft in Iberia
Spain is a core growth market for Statkraft, combining large-scale renewable generation and storage with an integrated Markets and Origination platform.
We were an early mover in the Iberian long-term PPA market and have established ourselves as Spain’s largest long-term power trader. Over the coming years, we plan to repeat our success in renewable PPAs in flexibility offtake agreements for third parties, thereby further significantly scaling our customer business.
Statkraft in Southern Europe
In Spain, Portugal, France and Italy, Statkraft combines renewable asset ownership and development with a leading origination and markets platform, structuring long‑term PPAs and route‑to‑market solutions for renewable producers and large consumers while actively expanding battery storage and flexibility activities. The Southern European business is tightly integrated with Statkraft’s European trading and optimisation capabilities, enabling end‑to‑end portfolio management from long‑term risk structuring to real‑time market operations and positioning Statkraft as a key market integrator in the region.
In this context, we are now looking for Senior Technical Business Analyst to coordinate our development deliveries in Spain. We are looking for a colleague to drive the implementation, operations and continuous improvement of processes in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders in Origination, Operations & Risk and all relevant IT departments.
