Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture to join our growing Master Planning & Facilities team within Worley Consulting. With several professional years of architectural experience and a strong commitment to design delivery, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects to successful outcomes, while supporting networking and business development activities. This role will be based in our Dammam office, with daily attendance required to engage with project and sales teams, lead client interfaces, and maintain key client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be an intrinsic part of the architectural leadership team in leading the practice, and in supporting and delivering the growth agenda.

  • You will be proactive in networking, seeking new opportunities and clients. You will be supported in all endeavours by the wider EMEA Architecture and Master planning team.

  • You will be instrumental in responding to sales opportunities, RFPs and sales proposals in coordinating the sales effort and developing convincing and competitive bid proposals.

  • Effective and confident communication is a priority with existing and new clients, design teams and both internal Worley peers and colleagues and external stakeholders.

  • Apply creative, responsive design thinking and a solutions-based approach across all work.

  • You will have the ability to prioritize, plan work, track progress of self and others and agree and monitor targets to keep deliverables on track

  • Nurture client relationships listening and understanding their needs, developing tailored and responsive architectural solutions that exceed expectations

  • Fulfil the requirements of an Architect of Record.

  • Good knowledge of KSA local technical codes and regulations

  • Ability to identify and propose solutions that will have the greatest positive impact on a master plan or building project

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively

Academic Background:

A recognized and relevant Degree in Architecture or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Architect/Engineer. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in Industrial Environments.

Experience:

  • Feasibility studies and early optioneering establishing site capacity and potential

  • Lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality design and adherence to sustainability principles, local rules and regulations

  • Experience across the stages of an architectural project, from pre-concept/Pre FEED to Concept/FEED, detailed design to IFC.

  • Effective management of client relationships

  • Project management meeting objectives, timelines, and budget requirements

  • Coordination of design groups, fostering a collaborative and proactive team environment.

  • Demonstrable experience in concept design, conceptual brainstorming, or architecture competitions

  • Experience in business development and the ability to develop and nurture new client relationships

  • Exceptional presentation skills using media effectively and impactfully, to suit the audience and the Project.

  • Proficiency in relevant architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit)

  • Knowledge and understanding of innovative practices particularly related to AI and the use of software, striving for continuous improvement.

  • Experience in industrial architecture or environments will be welcome

Technical Knowledge:

  • Technical and practical architectural skills

  • Developing skills in architectural engineering-specific software

  • Quick sketch (handmade and 3d models) skills

  • Proficient in Revit, CAD, Illustrator & Photoshop

  • Graphic communication skills

  • AI-driven data analysis enhancing architectural design efficiency and innovation

  • Skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite

Soft Skills

  • Verbal communication skills particularly in English and Arabic
