Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to join their team, providing expert consultation across a range of construction-related projects. Based in Dublin, this role involves working closely with architects, specifiers, and internal technical teams to deliver high-quality design solutions and technical support. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, analysis, and the development of technical presentations and resources.

To be successful, the preferred candidate will have strong technical experience in the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consult with architects, specifiers, and internal technical sales teams on project requirements.
2. Deliver monthly KPI reports and weekly trend/commercial analysis.
3. Develop and present technical solutions using BIM, CAD, U-value calculators, and thermal modelling tools.
4. Create and deliver presentations to industry bodies and merchant customers.
5. Maintain and share a detailed library of technical information and literature.
6. Conduct site visits to better understand customer needs and project requirements.
7. Stay up to date with building regulations, safety standards, and industry directives.
8. Support internal and external training to ensure compliance with standards.
9. Build strong internal and external networks to share best practices and insights.

Role Requirements:

1. Strong technical experience within the construction industry.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical support within a B2B environment.
3. Excellent data analysis skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
4. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
5. Strong relationship-building skills across departments and with clients.
6. Critical thinker with an inquisitive mindset and attention to detail.
